Tour Details

Discover the mystical island paradise of Siquijor, also known as “the Island of Fire” which refers to the eerie luminiscence produced by swarms of fireflies nestled among the foliage of molave trees.

From Dumaguete City, it’s a one hour trip via ferry to the capital town of Siquijor. Start your island tour with a quick stop at the St. Francis de Assisi Bell Tower & Convent before you head up to Triad, a cafe perched on a hill, giving you a panoramic view of the town of Larena and the surrounding islands of Negros and Cebu. Following is a rolling tour of quaint coastal towns of Enrique Villanueva and Maria, where the popular Salagdoong Beach is located. Lunch is either at the Triad or in Salagdoong. Next is the town of Lazi where you can take a refreshing dip at the Cambugahay falls and later visit the century-old St Isidore de Labradore Church and Convent, and the old Balete Tree. A visit to a local healer can be arranged, if you want to observe a bolo-bolo session or any of the traditional cleansing practices. Drive thru the San Juan de Capilay Spring as you head back to the pier in Siquijor for your trip back to Dumaguete (for daytrippers), or to your resort in Siquijor.
